The author of this site, Dr. M. Stephanie Zeller, is a born-again believer who has been privileged to both practice law and engage in ministry throughout her working career. A graduate of Vanderbilt Law School and Carnegie Mellon’s MSIA program, Stephanie practiced law in Rochester, New York, for over 35 years—primarily in the field of trusts and estates.

During this period, she also co-authored or contributed to a number of books published by Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company (later Thomson Reuters). Following retirement from legal practice in 2011, she continued as a Thomson Reuter writer for its New York Jurisprudence 2d and Carmody-Wait 2d publications.

Reducing her legal practice to part time in 1995, Stephanie applied her legal and financial training to ministry, primarily through Elim Fellowship (EF) and Elim Bible Institute (EBI), Lima, New York. Serving on ministry boards or in various volunteer and staff positions at both EBI and EF until 2015, Stephanie’s ministry was primarily to help churches and ministries understand law and tax. In addition, she completed the 3-year program at Elim Bible Institute and received her Doctor of Ministry degree from Northeastern Seminary, Rochester, New York. Stephanie was ordained by Elim Fellowship in 2006 and maintained her ministry license during this period of active ministry.

One of the highlights of Stephanie’s ministry time was working with International Leadership Seminars, the ministry of Costa Deir. She served on its board and as a writer for one of his books. “It’s Time to Grow Up.” This book can be ordered from Amazon.
